Sources and credits
Recovered from the archive, with every departure listed.
This is a static rebuild of proteothera.com, the site of ProteoThera, Inc. The original was a WordPress theme (proteothera_v1); its pages, stylesheet and images survived in the Internet Archive, so almost everything here is recovered rather than written.
What this is. A replica of the company’s own 2018 site, with the same navigation, copy, imagery and palette. The domain now resolves to an unrelated storefront, so the archived captures are the only source.
Provenance
Where each part came from
- The navigation and the eleven pages — the archived WordPress site: Home, Company, Technology Platform, Partnerships & Development, Research Collaborations, Management Team, Board of Directors, Scientific Advisors, Investors, News, Contact.
- The copy — transcribed from those pages, including the “Making Great Therapies Greater” tagline, the MB platform description and the three press releases.
- The imagery — the logo, three slider photographs, the tissue-matrix diagram, the MB fusion schematic, the two market charts, the partner logos and the office photograph are the original files from the site’s own uploads folder.
- The palette and type — from the theme stylesheet: navy #1B4363, sky #31B2ED, rust #AB4B21, grey #ECECEC, with Titillium Web and Lato, self-hosted here.
- The scientific evidence — the ACR/ARHP 2016 abstract (Pancoast, Lee, Patwari), quoted on the technology page.
- The patents — U.S. 9,187,517 (granted 2015) and the two published applications US 2019/0016754 and US 2017/0328886, both assigned to ProteoThera Inc.
What changed
Faithful, with the usual cuts
- One page for people. The original split management, board and advisors across three pages; they are one page here.
- The slider is static. The original rotated three photographs; this rebuild shows one on the home page and the other two further down.
- The contact form is a replica. The original used a Formidable Forms back end; this one validates and stops.
- No WordPress. No plugins, no jQuery, no page builder; plain HTML, one stylesheet and one small script.
What is not claimed
The record, and its edges
- No founding year on the site. The investors page gives 2013, which is not in the archived copy and is marked as unconfirmed there.
- No clinical data. The company described pre-clinical results, not trial outcomes.
- No current status. The last capture is 2018; the domain now serves an unrelated storefront. Nothing here claims the company is operating today.
- Market figures are the company’s 2017 projections, reproduced as such.
- The photographs are lifestyle stock used on the original site, not patients or staff.
